Wow, Friday really crept up on me, because it wasnt until late last night when I realize that today is Friday. So, Im up real early to bring to you this weeks edition of Link-End Round-Up. I might feel a little behind, because I took a personal day on Wednesday. When I say I took a personal day, I mean just that. I was slumped on my sofa watching recorded episodes of Fixer Upper and The First 48 until I convinced myself to get up and go to the store to get a container of Talenti Caramel Cookie Crunch gelato. Always worth the drive and calories.
In honesty, since Ive been really busy at work, I just needed a quick day to be responsible for nothing more than remembering to delete the episodes after I watched them to avoid clogging up my DVR. It was a great lazy day! Apparently, it was just what I needed, because I knocked out so much stuff on my always evolving daily to-do list when I got back to the office with time to spare.
Speaking of my daily to-do list, which Ive discussed before. this week I decided to be a little more particular with it. Usually, I just write down the things I need to do and scratch them off as I go. However, this week, I decided that I would break each task down by the time and hours I work on each one. Everyday, the first task is to check my email. Its still the first task on the list. However, I only deal with emails between 9am and 9:30am. Thats enough time for me to sort, respond, and archive them. After that, I usually spend an hour or two working on actual work tasks or blog tasks. Other than emails, Ive broken each task to 1-2 hours each. So far, its been pretty good. Ive been able to finish each task each day. There are few tweaks I need to make to the process, which I plan to do next week.
When it comes to any fall wardrobe, its key to have a classic, structured denim jacket. This year is no different, kinda. Whats different this year is that embellished denim jackets are it. Denim jackets embellished with big and colorful patches and buttons are the current rage in fall outerwear. I highly suggest we get on this trend, ladies!
Luckily, a lot of designers and labels have released some pretty cool and dope embellished jackets for one the seasons hottest trends. No matter your budget, Ive found a few options for you.
Although Starbucks released their Pumpkin Spice latte (PSL for the basics ), Im proud to say that Ive yet to buy one this season. Personally, I cant into a spicy pumpkin flavored cup of warm coffee, because its still been too hot to feel like fall. No, dont recommend me to get it iced, because thats just wrong all around. However, Ill admit that I have had a few pumpkin desserts, such as a slice of pumpkin pie a co-worker made, a pumpkin spice muffin from Dunkin Donuts, and Starbucks new pumpkin cheesecake bar. Yes, to their cheesecake bar, but no to iced coffee pumpkin spice lattes. So, Im slowly warming up to having days filled with pumpkin, including pumpkin colored style and fashion.
When it comes to fall style, you have to have some pumpkin orange pieces in your wardrobe. What else are you going to wear when trying to get a candid picture of you playing in the leaves to post on Instagram? Turquoise? No, thanks!
Currently, the only pumpkin color items I have in my wardrobe are a chunky sweater and pair of tights and I havent worn either in years. So, its safe to say I need to add a few items in this festive fall color to my closet, as well. Therefore, I found a few fall closet-worthy items for us to ponder adding to our life this fall.
As a person with oily skin, I know firsthand how tedious and tricky it can be to find and try the right products to use, especially make-up. Over the past decade (or two ), Ive tried numerous skincare and make-up products that are formulated for oily skin. Some of the oily skin make-up products that Ive tried have been major busts while some have been beyond amazing.
When you have oily skin, you should look for make-up that is formulated to give you a oil-free and matte look. So, I decided to list the products that I think would help those with oily skin create a flawless and shine-free make-up routine. These products are some of my all-time favorites and a couple of them are products I will probably use for the rest of my life.
Oh, its time for Link-End Round-Up already? Man, short work weeks can throw you off hard. One of the drawbacks about a short work week, when it that starts late instead кожный покров end early, is the feeling that you are running behind due to losing a day. Ive felt like that everyday this week, because I started this week with inboxes full of projects, short deadlines, and ongoing issues. All of this work clouded my creativity for awhile. Thankfully, the clouds cleared and made a lot of progress towards completing my list of things to do for the week. Hopefully, I will be able to wrap up everything by the end of today. *fingers crossed*
I кожный покров like I say this every week, but this weekend Im going to start purging some things from my home and do some organizing. Next weekend, I want to finally start painting around my house, which Ive been meaning to do for over a year. Yes, Im ashamed and feel free to judge me for now. The problem was that I could never decide on a color and I would ultimately just let the idea go of the whole painting idea all together. However, now that Ive been working on learning to discipline myself, the thought or painting has turned into planning to paint next weekend. So, like I said, judge mefor now. ??
I finally decided that I want bright, optic white walls. I love bright white rooms, because they make me feel awake and alert. Plus, they are great for when you want to take pictures in the house with natural lighting. I can easily warm up the place with decor. So, no worries about finding cozy feels.
Enough gabbing for now. Stop by next week for more beauty and style chats. In the meantime, keep reading to enjoy кожный покров weeks Link-End Round-Up.
